Juliette Aristides

Juliette Aristides is the Founder and Director of the Aristides Atelier at the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle, WA (founded in 2000). She teaches workshops internationally and is the author of six best-selling books including Lessons in Classical Drawing and Lessons in Classical Painting published by Watson-Guptill, NY which have been translated into five languages. Her latest book is Figure Drawing Atelier: An Instructional Sketchbook. Her artwork and writing have been featured in magazines such as Fine Art Connoisseur, American Art Collector, Artist’s Magazine, and American Artist. She exhibits in one person and group shows nationally including Observations, a solo exhibition at the Reading Public Museum of Art (2017). The Aristides Atelier achievements have been recognized in two consecutive exhibitions at the Maryhill Museum of Art (2018, 2019). Aristides is the recipient of an Elizabeth Greenshields grant and is an Art Renewal Center “Living Master.”
