In his art studio tour, Daniel tells us about a group of his “dead paintings,” which he has put away because he “ran into some problem with it.” He adds that it’s not too late for the works because it’s always possible that he’ll come back to any of them, even 15 years later to solve the problem that originally stopped him.

  1. Whats with the rubber gloves?? Why fear vegetable oil?? I just cannot understand the perceived fears artists have these days that beyond some of their being wonderfully talented, have these phobias concerning the very medium that they employ. I began formal painting studies in 1969-70 and today it is 2024. No harm whatsoever from oil medium or the pigments including the extenders or dilutants.
