“‘Naasir, Dreaming of Home’ is a life-size demo from life for my Atelier in New Orleans, the Blue Easel Club,” Carol Peebles tells us. “I later put in the background as Naasir’s thoughts. I new him as a child and now he is a grown man. I imagined him thinking of his home and childhood, as a reference to how we all can sometimes live in our memories. And how even though we are grown, we can sometimes feel like a child.”
