"Vallerina," acrylic on paper, 8 x 11 in.

Meet this week’s top Realism Today Ambassador, Shobha Sharma.

I have been doodling ever since I first picked up the pencil. I don’t know when the pencil let go of my hand and held my heart – dearly. I still remember those school days when I used to curl up on a shelf – yes, on a tiny shelf in a wall – and I kept on drawing for hours together. Paper became my playground for dreams and my pencil coached them.

Drawing/painting commissioned portraits and human figures are my core strengths. I work in acrylics, watercolor, and charcoal.
