Do you know where to start when it comes to looking for artist grants? The web can be overwhelming with possibilities, but Artwork Archive (a sponsor the recent Watercolor Live online art conference) has recently published a comprehensive list that will be updated throughout the year.

Click the link below to find a list of the top international open calls, residencies, fellowships, and awards that we believe will benefit artists during the upcoming year! The complete list is broken down into six categories: grants, residencies & fellowships, calls-for-entry, publications, COVID relief funds, and opportunity sites.

More from Artwork Archive:

New grants, such as the Artwork Archive Art Business Accelerator Grant, have formed in response to the needs of artists affected by COVID-19. Grants remain steady as a way for artists to supplement their income to ease the financial burden that often comes as part of being a working artist—especially over the last year. These grants listed help artists pay for materials, studio space, or even their rent, allowing artists to sustain themselves and their art practices during this difficult time.

While many residencies have changed the way they will operate or are postponing their residency dates, there are still upcoming opportunities to develop your work in a COVID-safe artist residency.
