About the Artist:
Born February 2, 1974 in Baltimore County, Maryland, Scott was educated in the Baltimore County Public School System through the ninth grade. In September ‘90, out of 500 applicants, he was one of ninety accepted into the Baltimore School for the Arts, located in downtown Baltimore City, and graduated in June ‘93 with a degree in Visual Arts.
It was during his junior year at the BSFA that he first learned of the Schuler School of Fine Arts and in the summer of ‘92, he started attending their six-week summer session. In October ‘94, he started full time at the school, including their night classes held two nights a week, and graduated in May ‘98. He went on to complete his Graduate Year (fifth year) at Schulers in May ‘99.
Scott now hopes, with the knowledge and discipline that he has gained, to one day become a successful artist and to pass on to others the traditions of the Old Masters through teaching, both privately and in group lessons.
